  • No other style of music is shrouded in mystery like jazz. This concerns the word itself, so far researchers have not come to a common opinion what this definition means and where it came from. At first, this word was designated as "dzass", later "Jasz", only after 1918 the present writing of the Jazz was approved.
  • The starting point for the development and distribution of this trend to the masses is considered to be February 26, 1917, when the legendary composition of the Original Dixieland Jazz Band recorded its first record with jazz compositions.
